Heart of the Pines Chorus is an extraordinary group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International.

TJ (Teresa) Reed
• joined Sweet Adelines in 1967.
• She was assistant director of the Wichita, KS chorus for 15 years and front line director of the Memphis, TN chorus for 6 years earning 1st place small chorus, 2nd place mid-size chorus, and 4th overall during her tenure. It was during this time that TJ completed a Sweet Adeline program to become a Certified Director.
• From 1967-1982, TJ was the baritone member of the Shondells quartet winning the 1977 Queens of Harmony in London, England. The Shondells also entertained on 2 USO tours overseas--1971 hospital tour in Japan, Okinawa Island, the Philippines, and Guam, and again in 1972 for 3 weeks in Vietnam.
• TJ moved to Nacogdoches, TX in April 2008 and with the help of a couple of new friends, started a new chorus in May 2010. Heart of the Pines chorus was officially chartered in July 2011.
